Maria Vasili - Speech Pathologist

Maria holds a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Sciences from Macquarie University and a Master of Speech Pathology from the University of Technology Sydney.

While studying, Maria worked as an Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapist, sparking her long-standing passion for supporting children and their families. Since then, she has gained a wealth of experience across different settings. She has worked as a clinical educator guiding Masters students from the University of Sydney as they developed their practical skills and has delivered presentations to preschool educators and families to build awareness of the role of speech pathology in early learning.

In private practice, Maria has supported children and young adults aged 18 months to 25 years. She has expertise in working with neurodivergent individuals and is dedicated to partnering with families, educators, and support teams to create meaningful goals that foster communication, connection, and confidence. Maria also works closely with families navigating the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). She is a proud member of Speech Pathology Australia’s Professional Self-Regulation program, keeping her practice current and evidence based.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys exercising, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the outdoors with her energetic dog, Apollo.
