Speech pathology appointments in Eastwood

What to bring:

  • Medicare - If you are claiming a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) rebate, please bring your Medicare card and your child’s current GP CDMP referral to the session.
  • Private health insurance card (if applicable)
  • Reports from any previous assessments (hearing, psychological, educational).
  • Letters from your paediatrician or other specialists
  • A favourite toy or comfort item for your child
  • A list of any questions you want to ask

Ryde Medical Centre has free parking available on site only for patients attending medical appointments.

To exit the parking, you will need a token to open the boom gate. Please ask your Speech Pathologist for a token as you leave your appointment.

Parking is also available on the surrounding streets. We recommend checking signage for any time restrictions.

Fees and payment

Omilia Speech Pathology accepts payments from a range of funding options including:

  • NDIS
    We accept self-managed and plan-managed funding.
    Please note: we are unable to accept NDIA-managed funding.
  • Medicare
    As a registered provider, we accept Chronic Disease Management Plans from your GP.
  • Private Health Funds
    If your cover includes speech pathology, you can manually claim sessions.
    A gap payment may apply depending on your policy.
  • Private
    We also welcome privately paying clients.

Cancellation policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule, please contact us by email at admin@omilia.com.au or call 0401 567 463 as soon as possible.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment or non-attendance will incur a 100% cancellation fee. This also applies if your child is unable to attend their scheduled session at school or preschool due to absence or participation in a school activity (e.g., excursion). Parents are responsible for notifying us if their child cannot attend. To avoid a cancellation fee, your session may be moved to Telehealth or rescheduled to another day within 7 days of your original appointment (subject to availability).
